T.D.Sirisena and Co (PVT) LTD, or “TDS” as it has been come to know in the Sri Lanka motor spare industry, was the brain child of the late Mr. T. D. Siresena. Formed in the latter part of 1967, Mr. Sirisena first opened shop in the old Alahkoon building in Panchikawatte. He started TDS with a single vision of offering affordable motor spare parts for heavy vehicle operators, in a market where only high priced OEM parts were available at the time. The realization of his vision was met with a great response in the country, with the third party motor booming as a result of it. He is to this day recognized as on the pioneers of the industry. TDS moved to its current home in Panchikawatte in the early 90s with the need for expansion. To this day the company remains one of the pillars of the local motor spare part industry, staying true to the original vision of offering quality, low cost motor spare parts to the market. Awards Over the years TDS has won numerous awards and accolades, being recognized for being one of the pioneering and leading motor spare parts dealers in the country.
